Michael C. Scott is a Senior Partner at 10T Holdings and 1 RoundTable Partners, bringing over two decades of distinguished experience in leveraged credit markets and special situations investing.  Previously, Michael co-founded Farmstead Capital Management, where he served as Managing Partner and Head of Research.  Under his leadership, Farmstead grew from inception to approximately $1 billion in assets under management, delivering consistently superior returns through sophisticated strategies focused on distressed situations, special opportunities, and private control investments.  His strategic vision and disciplined approach established Farmstead as a respected leader in institutional distressed credit investing.

Prior to founding Farmstead, Michael was a Partner and Senior Analyst at Venor Capital Management, an event-driven credit fund, where he led several of the firm’s most profitable investments. Michael began his career at JPMorgan, where he specialized in leveraged finance and distressed trading, developing foundational expertise in structuring complex financial transactions.

Michael has substantial experience serving on boards of directors and creditor committees, where he has consistently provided strategic guidance, enhanced governance practices, and driven significant operational improvements.  This extensive board-level experience positions him uniquely to add meaningful value to 10T/1RT’s portfolio companies.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University, graduating summa cum laude.
